Practical tip from Daniel: Apply TrimCleaner to a clean microfiber towel or a soft brush and work it vigorously into the plastic structure. Observe an exposure time of 1–2 minutes, then wipe off and rinse thoroughly with water. For textured surfaces, work with a detailing brush – this way, the cleaner reaches even the depths of the plastic structure, where residues are most stubborn.

The Dirt Profile on Exterior Plastics

Bumpers, mirror housings, and trim strips are constantly exposed to splash water, salt, UV radiation, and mechanical contact. The rubber-plastic compounds contain antiozonants that migrate to the surface – similar to tires.
